A little teak table to hold your cold drink on the patio
Oh, how I love teak! And this little, but handy, table does it for me. It came in about eleven days from the West Coast in a cardboard package that was smaller and lighter than I had been led to expect.
It only took ten minutes or so from the time I opened the package to screw in four bolts to secure the leg assembly to the top. Eh, voila! Simplicity itself.
It needs some sort of oil or wax treatment to make it look like the unit in the photo above. I just use a good quality home furniture wax. But for outdoor use in the sunlight, a good marine teak oil would be a good idea.
If you take care of this little beauty, it will outlast you and someone in your will should inherit this teak table. Teak is practically immortal, unlike us.
Teak is a beautiful wood when properly treated - highly weather resistant. Pssssst! Don't paint it. Please.
