Not good as a coffee table
When you buy a coffee table, you think you are getting a hard stable surface to put drinks on. Not this one. It is for show only. There is no hard surface for this top. I plan on motifing it and to make it more structually sound but you shouldn't have to do that. The surface has a lot of give and unless you put your drink on the edges, than it will fall. It goes with the rest of my furniture so I am going to keep it but they should have made it better to hold drinks without falling.
