I like teak
This small teak side table is the latest in my teak lawn furniture acquisitions. Two teak lawn armchairs were made in China, and the others were made in Indonesia. This item is typical Indonesian quality: very good but not perfect. Example: three of the four legs fit firmly and seated perfectly when the half inch lag bolt was tightened. The fourth leg was a loose fit in the top assembly and did not tighten well. I expected I would strip the thread in the leg if I tightened it as well as the others so it is slightly loose. I may have to remove it and insert some very thin material to wedge it in place better - plus some special teak friendly wood glue.
I shouldn't have to do that. But with "some assembly required" furniture it's par for the course. Also there were some small marks in several places on the top which look like careless tool marks or perhaps some minor abrasion in shipping from halfway around the world. So, you won't get an absolutely perfect teak item...
