Bad description on item
The description on the item is not accurate - there is nothing in the bottom and the cover simply hangs down, proving less covering or protection than a simple plastic tarp.
Plus, there is an essentially open side, although held together with hook-n-loop, there is a gap of about four inches on the front corners, which you can't close tighter.
Very disappointed - 1 star is too high for what you think you are getting. This is the very first thing I've returned to Amazon in a very long time of shopping with them.

Lousy cover. Not at all what is described. Disappointing
Don't waste your money on this thing. There is no draw-string at the bottom of the cover for a tight fit and there are 2 gaping holes at the top corners of the cover that will allow everything that you don't want into it. I wish I had read some of these reviews before purchasing. Shame on me, so learn from my mistake. You'd be better off throwing a sheet of plastic over your generator. This cover is junk!!
Gets the job done...
Like others have said, there is no elastic cord on the bottom hem. The side (velcro closure) opening is nearly useless since you don't run the generator with this cover on it, but it could be used for a handle that comes with most generators. It does the job though, it covers the generator from dust and whatever. It's not a rain cover for outdoor storage. You can just cut the bottom of the box off the generator box and use the top for a cover too...
